How to Prepare an American Mahjong OEM RFQ

A practical RFQ checklist for brands requesting an American Mahjong quotation, including format, materials, artwork, accessories, packaging, quantity, and samples.

Start with the market and product format

An effective American Mahjong OEM RFQ begins with the target market, retail position, and product format. State whether the collection is intended for a boutique, gift business, online brand, importer, or another retail context.

Confirm that the project is for American Mahjong and identify whether the first direction is a standard set, a premium collector set, a travel format, or a broader custom collection.

List the complete set scope

A quotation should cover more than the tiles. Include the planned tile count, racks, pushers, dice, chips, storage case, inserts, labels, and any other accessories that should ship as one collection.

If a detail is still open, mark it as a design decision rather than leaving the supplier to assume it from an image.

Prepare artwork, materials, and packaging references

Share logos, face artwork, Joker direction, color cards, fonts, packaging references, and any existing sample. State which materials are preferred and which alternatives are acceptable for review.

The starting images on a product page are design references. Final material, dimensions, artwork, accessories, packaging, and quantity are confirmed through project review and physical sample approval.

Ask for the next decision after quotation

A useful RFQ should lead to a clear next step: scope review, quotation, sample plan, artwork approval, or packaging review. Ask how changes will be tracked and what must be confirmed before production.

Send the brief to Xinyu for a factory-side review rather than requesting a price from a single image alone.

Send a Mahjong OEM project brief or review the custom OEM / ODM process.
